Punch needle workshop:

* Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
* Location: Café Centre d'art | 536 Bd Marie-Victorin, Boucherville | Studio 303
* Level: Beginner
* Minimum age required: 18 years old
* Spots available: 6 participants
* Minimum number of participants required for the workshop to take place: 4 participants

What is included:
All materials to complete your project will be provided for the duration of the workshop:
* Punch needle tool
* Yarn
* Linen fabric mounted on a wooden frame
* Other supplies needed to complete the project
The equipment used during the workshop remains on-site at the end of the session, with the exception, of course, of your project, which you can take home with you!

What you will learn during the workshop:
* Introduction to the materials used to create a punch needle piece
* Learning the basic technique as well as different stitches and ways to create textures
* Developing your idea and creating a design that will serve as the basis for your project (abstract or figurative)
* Preparing your pattern and transferring the design onto the fabric
* Exploring colors and creating your palette. An important step to give harmony and personality to your project
* Putting learned techniques into practice and completing your individual project

Lunch break:
A 30-minute break is scheduled. Lunch and drinks are not included.
Each participant is responsible for bringing their own meal and drinks.
Please note that there is a café located at the art center that offers a selection of meals and drinks.

Preparation before the workshop:
Before the workshop, I invite you to think about an idea or a project that inspires you.
You can bring some images or references if you wish,
but it is not necessary.

After the workshop:
If you would like to continue your discovery of punch needle at home, it will be possible to purchase materials on-site.

Cancellation policy:
Unexpected events are a part of life!
If, for any reason, you cannot attend the workshop, please contact me in writing at least 24 hours before the start of the workshop. Your registration can be transferred to the next punch needle workshop, subject to availability.

Registrations are non-refundable.

Lateness: The workshop starts at 10:00 a.m. No refund or discount will be applied if you arrive late to the workshop.

Registration is open until Thursday, October 15!

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not reached and the workshop has to be canceled, you will be notified in advance and your registration fee will be refunded.
